Jenkit ne osaa. USA:ssa on (muistaakseni) eniten pienpanimoita maailmassa, joten on sääli, että vain pienen pieni osa päätyy tänne Pohjolan perukoille. Viimeksi Alkon lippulaivassa eli Arkadiassa vieraillessani hyllyssä taisi olla vain pari peruslageria. Mihin katosivat ylähyllyn isot jenkit? Muutenkin Alkon toivoisi siirtyvän enemmän viineistä oluisiin ja viskeihin. Perusviinejä kun on joka Alkossa pilvin pimein.
Nyt kuitenkin Great Divide Brewing co. (perustettu 1994 Denveriin, Coloradoon) on onnistunut saamaan Alkon hyllyille upean DIPAn eli Double India Pale Ale'n eli Hercules nimeltään. Tässä täyteläisessä dipassa on täyteläistä hedelmää, kermaisuutta, humalaa ja suklaata/kaakaota sekä pähkinää. Tuoksun kruunaa tammitynnyrimäinen tuoksu. Lisää näitä, Alko!

Americans they know how to do it. USA (as far as I remember) are the microbrewery country number 1 in the world. Therefore it is a shame that only a small amount of those end up in the far northern corner of the world a.k.a. Finland.
But I stumbled across to this at local off-license called Alko. This is a beer by Great Dividing Brewing Company (founded in 1994 at Denver, Colorado) and it is a Double India Pale Ale (commonly known as DIPA). It's called Hercules and it has lots of fruits and hops in it. It is full-bodied and creamy with hint of chocolate/cocoa and nuts. And all of this is crowned with oaky flavours. More of these, please Alko?
