Experimental blended malts part 01

Couple of weeks ago I just couldn't resist of trying my own blended malt. I took 1 cl of Aberlour 10 YO and 1 cl of Laphroaig 10 YO. There was a nice blend of smokiness and fruitiness. Nose had dried plums but it was still smoky. Taste: smoky, fruity and sweet. I was surprised this experiment turned out to so well. Points: nose21+taste21+finish20+balance = 82 points. Very funny way to taste single malts. What to blend next? We'll see.
