Experimental blended malts part 03

Laphroaig 10 (40%) + Connemara Peated.
Third experiment consists two smoky and peaty single malts with different nationalities. I tried to merge Scottish and Irish single malts and I was surprised how good the result was. Nose was smoky, malty with strong sea climate. Taste had a very familiar flavour, especially to Finns: Leijona tervapastilli (that's tar pastille). I also found saltiness and peatiness. Finish was long and smoky. Yummy. Points: nose 24+taste 23+finish 23+balance 23 = 93/100.
