Royal Lochnagar 1986/2009

Royal Lochnagar's 12 Year Old is one of my favourites. This version (Carn Mor Vintage series bottle) is not so good but still not bad at all. White wine coloured whisky with plums, fruits, vanilla and lots of fresh grapes on the nose. Nice. Whisky is full-bodied with fruity, sweet and peach notes on the palate. Great long and fruity notes on the finish. Points: 22+22+21+21 = 86.
