Glenburgie Aged 10 Years

This distillery is not so respected amongst single malt fans but nevertheless this 10 YO tastes good. There are lot worse single malts out there.
The distillery is situated in the Speyside region and it's typical sweetness and fruitiness are the first scents that comes to mind. Colour is pale amber, not so deep but not light. Nose is sweet, nutty, hint of tobacco somewhere, honey and chardonney. Water surfaces heathery notes when nosing it again. It is medium-bodied whisky with tasting notes like sweet, toffee and honey. Finish and aftertaste is medium long and sweet. Points: nose 21 + taste 20 + finish 20 + balance 20 = 81 points and overall rating: 8.
Nice whisky but still nothing earth shivering in it.
